\"\"<\/a>I will briefly introduce myself: I’m Jasper van der Maarel and live with my family in Haarlem, Netherlands.<\/p>\n

This app was created from a new hobby of mine. Since spring 2011, I became a big fan of both iPad and iPhone. It therefore seemed a good idea to try if I could make an app for my iPhone. Since I have no previous programming experience, that was a very big challenge.<\/p>\n

In March 2012, this hobby started with the purchase of a small Macbook Air, since you need a Mac to build an iPhone app. The idea for this app came from my wife for which I am very thankful. I think it’s a very nice theme, especially since it is current for us: we have a son almost two and a half years old. After purchasing the Mac a difficult period began in which I’ve been reading and tinkering a lot, without really knowing what I was doing. After two months I started to get the hang of it a little and a month later I could finally install the first test version of the app on my iPhone.<\/p>\n

The second half of 2012 this project got serious to the point that my app got published in the App Store in December 2012.<\/p>\n
